Verona Shoe: The Verona is a versatile shoe that pairs well with a suit, a sport jacket, or jeans.
4-Layer Sole: The 4-layer sole starts with a blue rubber layer on the bottom for maximum flexibility and durability. On top of that is a thin cork layer for shock-absorption. Then thin layers of blue and white for additional style and comfort.
Top-Grain Leather Upper: The upper is a 100% real top-grain leather, hand brushed to give the toe a burnished sheen that you have to see to appreciate.
Leather Lining: Inside, the leather lining keeps your foot cool in summer, warm in winter, and comfortable all year long. The premium cushioned sheepskin leather insole makes this a comfortable walk even though the outside looks like a very classy dress shoe that traditionally sacrifices comfort for style.
About the Fit: This shoe is medium-width and runs about average. If you need a half size, consider going down a size and loosening the laces slightly. The leather will stretch and adapt as needed.
I'm thrilled with every aspect of these shoes. They're comfortable, durable, stylish, and the fit is just right. I will definitely shop here again when the time comes!
These shoes look sharp and the quality is great! Sizing conversion chart was right on. I love the real leather, and after wearing them 3 or 4 times they feel great - just takes a little breaking in. Can wear them all day with no problem. The are unique and I have gotten several compliments on them as well!
Tim is awesome to work with, having someone there ready to answer questions and willing to stand behind the product makes all the difference.
Dear Luke,

I generally pay more for shoes. I believe in the "rich man/poor man" principle: a poor man might $50 or $75 for boots that last maybe a year. a man with a bit more money who is frugal (me and most of us I think) pays $125 to &150 for a pair of shoes that last many years. I spend far less on shoes in the long run because I pay more for much better shoes that in the long run cost me a fraction of what cheap shoes cost. Better shoes are much better for a person's joints and bones too. I have chronic joint problems. I notice a big difference after just one day of wearing better shoes. Now my new Veronas are broken in, I can tell you these are of the highest quality in every category: looks, fit, support, comfort, and build quality. Every detail shows that they are made to look great and last for a very, very long time. Are they worth paying maybe twice as much for? Emphatically, yes, they are worth it.
Moreover the labor and materials are truly ethically sourced, which is important to me. I will tell my friends and family about these. The packaging isn't flashy, which is good in my book. I want the money to go to the product and the people who make the product, not in the disposable materials the product comes in. I can't post my initial review her because it's too long. I'm posting it on Facebook, and I'll post it in my Google reviews as soon as I'm able.
I've received multiple compliments about the style and polished look of this casual dress shoe. The quality of construction is outstanding. It's nice to be able to smell the all-leather build of the shoe when removing it from the box, and after wearing it often. The blue sole is solid, comfortable, and fashionable. I've worn it with jeans and khakis, and even with a sport coat. The fit was exactly as advertised -- medium wide, and the European size corresponded perfectly with my American shoe size. I'm a fan of the blue laces. I highly recommend this shoe and another pair I purchased from Polished by Brazil.
Thanks, Brent, for your thorough (and kind) review! I appreciate the great feedback, and I’m glad you like the shoes as much as I do. Thanks!
